Finished up "Why Not" last night. It's uptempo and catchy, which is sort of what this project is about. Don't let "A Slow Song for Sad People" fool you. This album will be short and lo-fi, maybe 10 or 12 songs at the most, but it will have lots of energy and melody, with a little bit less introspection than usual. Anyway, that's the update, and I'm sure I'll have something new on "Orphan Bird", the album, soon.
By the way, thanks to Altsounds, Underskn, and Music Snobs for their reviews, posts, and updates. The Orphan Bird is very young and they have been very helpful in getting the word out.
